Kindle Page Turner
Silly but useful tech toys
Years ago, when I got my first Kindle (the first one made), I was suffering from RSI and hated having to hold the device and push a button to turn the page. I looked into ways to make a remote control using the USB connection, but gave up quickly.
Miraculously, in December when I was updating to the latest Kindle, I discovered a variety of little manual page turners are now available for ebook readers! Apart from catering to physical limitations, they support a new use case for me: keeping my hands under the covers or a blanket while reading when it’s really cold. (I am not the only one, I saw in the comments.)
I got this one (Amazon.fr link, sorry), for less than 20€. It charges via usb, and uses RF frequency not bluetooth. The charge seems to last a really long time. It came with a cute soft bag and wrist strap.

The only adaptation I had to make was to increase the size of my margins on the reading, so it would make contact with the screen without overlapping text.
