Halifax garden shop window display.
This was my view while eating breakfast at 9am in old Halifax, after dropping Ellen at the airport. All the churches on the islands are white clapboard buildings.
This may have been a theater, down in the renovated historic harbor area.
This was the front window of the maritime museum on the renovated harbor, set up to look like a historic office (if I remember rightly).

This was the window on a historic house associated with Lucy Maude Montgomery, who wrote the Anne of Green Gables books (no, it's not Green Gables -- lots of houses were white with green trim). We went to so many museums and historic sites connected to her that I don't remember which one it was!
