After watching these guys point for hours, I went for the camera. Beach near ruined Grapetree Resort (Hurricane Hugo destroyed it), St Croix.
In a big tree covered in birds, I shot this guy. He's a Dr. Seuss bird.
Sprat Hall Plantation lawn. For some reason, I want to hug them. I think it's the big round grey body.

They look awkward, but they sure float nicely once they're up in the air.
They hit with a big splash. And I think they like it.
Getting away from me, leisurely like.
I think this guy looks awfully prehistoric.
